The pool area is open from May 14 to September 6, 2026.
Entrance fee
Entrance is included in the accommodation price, use your Daftö wristband to enter.
We sell a limited number of entrance tickets for day visitors. Entrance tickets are purchased at the reception for 90 SEK per person. Advance purchase is not possible.
Just like the Daftö pirates, we love water in all its forms. Here you will find three pools with a pirate ship, waterfalls, water cannons, a slide, and a lookout tower. Board a pirate ship in the adventure pool, splash your friends or siblings with the water cannon, or enjoy the warmth on a sun lounger and simply relax.
The pool area in Strömstad
The pool area is located past the reception, the shop, and Restaurant Packhuset. Parents and those who prefer to stay dry can relax in the sun loungers or cool off at the outdoor terrace of Restaurant Packhuset. In the pool area there is also a pool bar serving light meals, ice cream, and drinks.
The pool is heated and is expected to be around 25 degrees. Depending on the weather, the temperature may vary. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area.
Combine pool time with accommodation
In addition to the pool entrance a wide range of activities is included in the accommodation price, and you can stay however you like – in the Pirate Hotel, cottage, camping, or guest harbor.
Water aerobics
Start your day with energy and joy – during the summer weeks, there is water aerobics in the pool area. The class is suitable for all levels and is perfect for both body and mind. Included for all staying guests, no registration required.
Recharge with energy
New for 2025 is a new pool bar located next to the Packhuset restaurant. Here, you can take a break from swimming and recharge when hunger strikes or cool down with a cold drink or ice cream.
Pool party
The pool area is one of the Daftö pirates’ favourite spots – and that’s no surprise, is it? During the summer it’s more the rule than the exception that they visit the pool area to create fun events like pool parties. Dance and song with water splashing in time to the music – here, neither rain gear nor umbrellas will help!
The shop
In the shop you can buy items such as air mattresses, armbands, swimming goggles, towels, and other essentials you may have forgotten at home.
