We have long welcomed various orienteering clubs and associations. Daftö Resort is surrounded by characteristic terrain with coastal landscapes and large forest areas. At Daftö Resort, you’ll find everything you could possibly need during your stay. Comfortable cabins, a restaurant, a modern conference centre and much more. All facilities are easily accessible, making it simple to keep the group together as you move between different areas of the resort.

At the resort, there is a wide range of group activities, from adventurous to more relaxing ones. All activities are designed to give you as much time together as possible. Of course, we can also tailor activities to suit your group.
Sports packages and prices
Below you can find our suggested packages. These apply before June 14 and from August 17 – in other words, the most optimal weeks to plan a group trip to Daftö. If you visit us between May 14 and September 6, access to the pool area is also included in the price.

Children & Youth
Strengthen the team spirit with a training camp at Daftö. You’ll stay in top-modern cabins where breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price, and you can choose to add both activities and access to sports facilities. For training sessions on site, you can book the activity field with artificial turf, make use of hiking trails and the outdoor gym, and reserve a room for theoretical lessons if needed. If you wish to use one of the sports halls in Strömstad, you can book them through Strömstad Municipality. In addition to training and theory, there are plenty of activities – compete in the Daftö Challenge, relax in the pier sauna by the sea, play padel, boule, adventure golf, or visit the Daftöland amusement park. Price: 1,890 SEK per person including VAT. Minimum 15 people.
Adults
Host your training camp at Daftö. Stay in top-modern cabins where breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price, with the option to add activities. At Daftö, you can book the activity field with artificial turf and conference rooms. In addition, there are several activities you can add to your package to alternate with your training sessions or strengthen team spirit – padel court, boule court, pool, pier sauna by the sea, adventure golf and the Daftöland amusement park. We also collaborate with Strömstad Municipality, where several sports halls are located just a 10-minute drive away. To book the municipality’s sports halls, please contact the municipality directly. Price: 2,090 SEK per person including VAT. Minimum 15 people.
Terrain
When you think of the West Coast, you might picture cliffs and the sea, but the landscape is much more varied. The unique coastal pine forests of northern Bohuslän begin east of Havstenssund, at Västbacken, and continue north over Resö, Galtö, Rossö, Tjärnö, Saltö and Öddö – all the way to Norway. Wetlands are rare here, but a few larger bogs resemble the marshlands found further north. In the southeastern parts of Strömstad, there are some grassy areas on solid forest ground, mostly limited to higher elevations with gentler slopes.
