Hiking package
Combine your hiking experiences with 2 nights of accommodation and breakfast at Daftö Resort. Choose between staying in a cottage with made beds and departure cleaning, or at a campsite with your own caravan, motorhome or tent. At check-in, you’ll receive a hiking map, and during breakfast, you can pack a lunch to bring along on your walk.

Hiking trails at Daftö
The resort has its own trails of varying lengths. You’ll find some of them above the Activity Field, and trail markers will help guide your way. Just past the Activity Field, there’s also an outdoor gym if you want to start or end your walk with a pulse-raising workout.
- Hiking with children – The Kaparleden trail is 1.5 km long and perfect for the whole family, with adventurous stops along the way. Information boards give you insights into nature, the sea, and the history of Bohuslän.
- The History Trail is 2 km long and perfect for true history buffs. It features many fascinating stories from Bohuslän along the route.
- The Nature Trail is 5 km long and includes some hilly terrain. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes before heading out. On this trail, you’ll experience a beautiful mix of beach, sea, and forest.

Kuststigen (The coastal path) through Strömstad
The northern part of the beautiful Kuststigen passes through Strömstad, from Kebal (Strömstad station stop) to Selätes beach, passing through Daftö Resort. The path is 3 km long and takes about 1 hour. Don’t miss the Tjuv-Halvar’s cave, and the view from the top is well worth a visit.

The Bohus Trail winds through paths, small roads, forests, and idyllic farm landscapes. It consists of 27 stages offering a total of 370 km of varied hiking. The trail also offers scenic views, such as from Bohuslän’s highest peak, Björnerödspiggen near Krokstrand, overlooking the Idefjord and surrounding landscape.
Stages 25–27 are a short drive from Daftö.

Koster
Boats run year-round to these westernmost inhabited islands in Sweden, most of which are nature reserves. In summer, boats also depart from Daftö’s pier. The islands offer excellent hiking opportunities along trails and marked paths.
