Grocery shop

The shop is closed for the season. Warmly welcome back in spring 2024. If you want to buy groceries and cook in the cabin, there is an ICA Kvantum store not far from us. Head towards the city center and straight ahead at the first roundabout to get there.

Did you forget your toothbrush at home? Or maybe the children's crab bucket? No problem, You´ll find most things in our grocery shop. Take the opportunity, like so many others - to buy our freshly baked rolls for breakfast. 

It’s summer, everyone is on holiday and enjoying a lovely time at Daftö. And to make your stay even easier, we have stocked our grocery shop with everything you could need. As well as food, we have a wide range of toys and practical products you may have forgotten at home, such as camping accessories, adapters and TV cables.

“The idea is that you should never have to leave to go shopping. Here you can buy toys for the children and a full dinner menu,” says Mikaela Johansson who has worked at Daftö for 12 years.

The meat counter has everything you need for a BBQ evening, and if you like local produce, the shop now stocks products such as seaweed crispbread from Grebbestad and sea buckthorn marmalade from Tjärnö. But what we sell most of is without a doubt – rolls. In total, the shop sells more than 100,000 freshly baked rolls per season to our guests for breakfast.

“Every morning, we start by baking lots of bread. Freshly baked rolls for breakfast is a really strong tradition among our guests. But it’s not just in the morning that the shop sells high-quality bread. If you fancy something sweet for the beach or maybe just want a short coffee break, we have lots of nice cakes and biscuits to choose from.

“We also have really tasty coffee from our coffee machine. Good beans, freshly ground and as smoking fresh as it is hot. We have everything for really good coffee,” says Mikaela Johansson.
