Equipment in the cottages of Döskallebyn
In Döskallebyn you stay simply and modestly with space for four people. Breakfast is included in the price and is served either in Restaurant Packhuset or Café Bistro, depending on the time of year you visit us. The cottages have no running water; toilets and showers are available in Service Building 8, just a short walk away.
In the cottage there are duvets and pillows for all beds. Bring your own bed linen or add it to your booking for extra comfort. On the veranda there is a table and benches, and inside the cottage you will find electricity and a small TV.
In Döskallebyn, unfortunately, it is not possible to add a travel cot as the space is too small. Please choose another cottage if this is required during your stay.
Parking and Electric vehicle chargers
Each cabin has a parking space. If you have more cars, you can park in the paid parking areas outside the reception or at Daftöland.
Between the Pirathotel and the conference building, there are charging stations for electric cars, which are paid for via the Easypark app. Electric cars must not be charged anywhere else except through these electric car chargers.

Can I reschedule my stay?
Yes, with our various cancellation protection options, you have great flexibility regarding rescheduling and cancellation. You can choose what suits you best. Read more about our booking conditions under "About Daftö".
Do I need to bring bed linen?
You can, but you don't have to. You can choose to rent bed linen and spend your time on more enjoyable activities than washing sheets when you get home.
Is there Wi-Fi on the premises?
Yes, absolutely, you can connect to our network whether you are at Daftöland, by the pool, or in the cottage. Wi-Fi is free for guests staying with us, and the password is "pirat1234".
How far is it to Strömstad?
It is 5 km to Strömstad and takes approximately 10 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by bicycle. You can rent a bicycle at the reception for 180 SEK per day, and a helmet is included in the price.
When can I check in and when do I need to check out?
You can check in to the cottages from 15:00. Check-out is at 11:00 (if you have ordered final cleaning, check-out is at 10:00).
Is there kitchen equipment in the cottages?
All cottages with kitchens have enough crockery, glasses, and cutlery for the number of people the cottage accommodates. In addition, there are pots and other essentials for cooking meals for hungry stomachs.
