The cottages in Pirate Village are decorated in true Daftö pirate style and offer space for four people in two bedrooms. Here you stay with a well-equipped kitchen, tiled bathroom, and a patio with a view of Daftöland. All beds are made, and departure cleaning is included in the final price.

Equipment in the cottages of Piratbyn

In the themed Pirate Village, you live adventurously – just as a real pirate would wish. Outside, there is a patio overlooking the village courtyard and the amusement park Daftöland.

In the cottage you will find conveniences such as fridge, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker, kettle, kitchen towel, washing-up equipment, highchair, TV, and outdoor furniture. Pets are allowed here.

A travel cot is not available in the cottage but can be added as an option for 250 SEK, including duvet and pillow.

All beds are made, and departure cleaning is included in the final price. Feel free to check out the video further up on the page, in the slideshow, where we show the cottage room by room.

Parking an electric vehicle charging

Each cottage has a parking space. If you need space for more cars, you can park in the paid parking areas outside the reception or at Daftöland. Between the Pirate Hotel and the conference building, there are charging stations for electric cars that can be paid for via the Easypark app. Electric cars are not allowed to be charged anywhere else but at these electric car charging stations.

Can I reschedule my stay?

Yes, with our various cancellation policies, you have great flexibility regarding rescheduling and cancellations. You choose what suits you best. Read more about our booking terms under "About Daftö."

Is there Wi-Fi on the premises?

Yes, absolutely. You can connect to our network whether you are at Daftöland, by the pool, or in the cottage. Wi-Fi is complimentary for guests staying with us, and the password is "pirat1234."

How far is it to Strömstad?

It's 5 km to Strömstad and takes about just under 10 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by bike. You can rent a bike at the reception for 180 SEK per day, and a helmet is included in the price.

When can I check in and when do I need to check out?

You can check in to the cottages and the hotel from 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Is there kitchen equipment in the cottages?

All cottages with kitchens have dishes, glasses, and cutlery for at least the number of people who can sleep in the cottage. In addition, there are pots and other essentials for cooking meals for hungry stomachs.
