Equipment in the cottages of Saltbyn

In Saltbyn you stay in the heart of the action, close to a playground which is perfect for the children. Here you live in small and charming cottages with kitchen and bathroom. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a single bed, and in the living room a sofa bed. The best part of the cottage is the veranda, perfectly located to enjoy the last rays of the day’s sun.

In the cottages you will find a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker, kettle, kitchen towel, cleaning and dishwashing equipment, TV, and outdoor furniture on the veranda. Pets are allowed here.

A travel cot is not available in the cottage but can be added as an option for 250 SEK, including duvet and pillow.

Duvets and pillows are provided for all beds. Bring your own bed linen or rent it from us.

Parking and electric vehicle charging

Each cottage has a parking space right next to it. If you need space for more cars, you can park in the paid parking areas outside the reception or at Daftöland.

Between the Pirate Hotel and the conference building, there are charging stations for electric cars, which can be paid for via the Easypark app. Electric cars must not be charged anywhere else but at these electric car charging stations.

Can I reschedule my stay?

Yes, with our various cancellation protection options, you have great flexibility regarding rescheduling and cancellation. You can choose what suits you best. Read more about our booking conditions under "About Daftö".

Do I need to bring bed linen?

You can, but you don't have to. You can choose to rent bed linen and spend your time on more enjoyable activities than washing sheets when you get home.

Is there Wi-Fi on the premises?

Yes, absolutely, you can connect to our network whether you are at Daftöland, by the pool, or in the cottage. Wi-Fi is free for guests staying with us, and the password is "pirat1234".

How far is it to Strömstad?

It is 5 km to Strömstad and takes approximately 10 minutes by car and about 20 minutes by bicycle. You can rent a bicycle at the reception for 180 SEK per day, and a helmet is included in the price.

When can I check in and when do I need to check out?

You can check in to the cottages from 15:00. Check-out is at 11:00 (if you have ordered final cleaning, check-out is at 10:00).

Is there kitchen equipment in the cottages?

All cottages with kitchens have enough crockery, glasses, and cutlery for the number of people the cottage accommodates. In addition, there are pots and other essentials for cooking meals for hungry stomachs.
