Spring in Bohuslän is a fantastic time. At Daftö, Easter is the starting signal for our season. After that, the next big holidays are Ascension Day and Pentecost when the activity calendar is filled to the brim and the amusement park opens. On this page we inform you about things to do with us in spring and what current offers we have during this period.
Spring weekend cozy package with 2-course dinner
Make your weekend something special with a wonderful combination of relaxation and nature experiences. When evening comes, a tasty 2-course dinner awaits before you fall asleep in your hotel room, cabin, or in your own motorhome or caravan on the campsite.
The weekend cozy package includes one night in a cabin, hotel or campsite and a 2-course dinner. The package can be booked Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday during the period 27 February – 10 May (except 3–5 April).

- The Pirate Hotel: Double room, 2 people: from 2,443 SEK. Family room, 3 people: from 3,082 SEK. Family room, 4 people: from 3,511 SEK
- Cabin: 1,720 SEK for two people. Price for an extra person: 429 SEK. For more than 4 people, an additional charge applies for upgrading the cabin.
- Campsite pitch: 1,168 SEK for two people. Price for each additional person: 429 SEK

Celebrate Easter at Daftö
During Easter, lots of fun activities await together with the Daftö pirates. Many of the activities take place outdoors, offering experiences for the whole family where you create shared memories to look back on. The activities with the Daftö pirates are included in the accommodation price.
Ascension Day and Pentecost
The spring holidays Ascension and Pentecost are packed with activities at the resort and the open amusement park. Round off the day with a show and food at Packhuset and enjoy outdoor activities for the whole family.
Swimming in the pool and the sea
Here you don’t have to choose between swimming in the pool or in the sea – you can enjoy both! The pool area opens on May 14 and is open every day until September 6. Admission is included for overnight guests. There is a larger beach in Söderviken and one in Norrviken.
Daftöland
Daftöland is the amusement park with rides, games, eateries and pirates. During the spring weekends of Ascension Day and Pentecost the gates open for the season, and new for this year is that the park is open on Saturdays up until 17 June. From 18 June the park is open every day until 15 August. During the spring and up to and including 17 June, the entrance prices are lower. Buy your tickets online no later than the day before your visit for the best price.
Restaurants
During spring you can enjoy something good to eat and drink from either Restaurang Packhuset or Café Bistro. Enjoy the spring sunshine on the outdoor terraces, sit inside in the cozy surroundings, or take your food with you back to your accommodation. See which restaurant is open during your next visit.
Playgrounds
At Daftö Resort, play is never far away. There are a total of 7 playgrounds for adventurous games like real pirates. Children can challenge themselves on various obstacle courses, balance beams, climbing frames and much more. The playgrounds are designed to suit children of all ages. At the resort there is a jumping pillow at the playground in Höglandet. There is also a jumping pillow inside the Daftöland amusement park.
Adventure golf
At the resort there is an adventure mini-golf course where you can challenge your family or friends in true pirate spirit. Eighteen holes take you past skulls, shipwrecks, pirate flags and other things the pirates have brought back to Daftö from their voyages at sea. The courses are just as suitable for beginners as for golf pros. Rent clubs and balls at the reception.
The Daftö Battle
Have you seen competitions like Wild Kids, Robinson, Mästarnas Mästare or Sveriges Starkaste Familj? Daftökampen is a competition in true Daftö style to experience together with your family or group of friends! Head out on a walk filled with excitement and take on a series of challenges along the way that will test your physical and mental strength. From skill trials to teamwork exercises, every station offers a new challenge and a new opportunity to show what your team is capable of.
Bicycle
Bring your bike and experience our flow trails and MTB tracks. Here you’ll find cycling experiences in many forms: adrenaline-filled rides on the MTB trails or a peaceful bike trip into Strömstad. Bring your own mountain bike. At the resort you can rent a city bike or an e-bike for the day.
Culture and history
In and around Strömstad there is a lot to see and exciting history to discover. Art exhibitions, gardens, ancient monument sites and museums, to name a few. Check out the page where we’ve gathered our tips on places to visit if you’re interested in culture.
Sauna
At Daftö there is a pier sauna by the seafront, a wellness area with a jacuzzi and sauna, and two sauna sections in the service buildings.
Padel
Here you’ll find two outdoor courts for those who want to challenge each other in padel. The courts are booked via Matchi. At the reception you can rent rackets and buy balls.
Hiking in Bohuslän
