At Daftö you can stay all year round, with different adventures and experiences depending on when you visit us. On this page, you can explore what’s available in April and May, as the weather warms up and summer approaches.
During Spring break, activities start to pick up, with adventures led by the Daftö pirates on select days. It’s a perfect time to visit for families who want a lively atmosphere with a touch of relaxation before the busy summer months.

Pirate easter at Daftö
The pirates are gearing up with lots of activities for Easter. Many activities take place outdoors, and all activities are ones you experience together as a family to create shared memories to look back on. The activities with the Daftö pirates are included in the accommodation price.
Accommodation
Here, you can stay just the way you like – in a cottage, hotel, guest harbor, or with your own caravan, motorhome, or tent at the campsite. Our cottages and camping come in various sizes and offer different views. The store
Here you can buy everything from fresh bread and coffee in the morning to meat to grill for dinner and sweets for evening comfort. In addition to food, we have a wide range of toys and necessities you may have forgotten at home, such as water guns, adapters or toothbrushes. We have everything for a smooth camping experience without unnecessary trips to the grocery store.
Food and restaurants
Groceries can be purchased at the resort's store or at one of the larger supermarkets in Strömstad, depending on the timing of your visit. If you prefer cooking outdoors, feel free to use our barbecue areas located around the resort. During Easter, Packhuset restaurant is open, offering a delightful combination of delicious food and live entertainment. Check the calendar for dates and details!
Adventure golf
Challenge each other in true caper spirit! Our adventure golf course consists of 18 courses inspired by pirates' adventures at sea. You can rent golf balls and clubs at reception during reception opening hours.
Fun at the playgrounds
Around the resort, you'll find eight playgrounds in various sizes and designs. At Höglandet, you'll discover our newest playground, featuring a jumping pillow, swings, an obstacle course, and more. You’ll also find playgrounds near Service House 2 in Söderviken, the tent pitches in Söderviken, the ship on Söderviken’s beach, and next to Service House 6. Pool area
The pool area opens on May 28th and will remain open every day from 10am to 8pm until September 7th. Entrance is included in the price for guest staying at the resort.
Daftökampen
Maybe you've seen TV shows like Wild Kids, Robinson or Master of Masters? Daftökampen takes inspiration from these competitions and offers a competition experience for the whole family! You compete as either pirates or privateers, and are pitted against your opponents in various challenges. You follow a map that leads you to various exciting challenges and competitions. At each station you will find instructions on how the challenge is carried out and who will take on the task. Daftökampen is the perfect activity for adventure and family fun.
MTB cycling
At Daftö, you can experience trail cycling of moderate difficulty in blue and red levels, as well as flow tracks in a lovely forest setting. It's an activity for the whole family, suitable for both experienced cyclists and beginners. Moreover, Lagunen Bikepark is just a short bike ride away for those who can't get enough.
Fun at Sea
If you prefer a swim in the sea, you're welcome to visit one of the beaches at Söderviken or Norrviken. Here, you can take a refreshing dip, build sandcastles, at Söderviken you can also rent a pedal boat, SUP, or canoe to explore the Koster Sea on your own.
Hiking and outdoor gym
At Daftö there are several hiking trails of various lengths and an outdoor gym. In addition, there are several well-known trails not far from the resort, such as Bohusleden and Kuststigen. You can therefore choose from several different trails with different landscapes and environments depending on what you want to experience. Padel tennis
At Daftö there are two outdoor padel courts and you will find them next to our cottage village Piratbyn. The courts are booked through Matchi (online) and you can rent racks and buy balls at the reception during the reception's opening hours.
